Spoilers: EastEnders airs exit for Ellie as Phil and Callum get Raymond

EastEnders has aired the final scenes of fearsome Ellie Nixon as Mica Paris’ guest role in the soap has come to an end. And Ellie did not depart a happy bunny as Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) tricked her into handing over his son Raymond.

Ellie had demanded a sum of £250k from Phil but with Callum Highway (Tony Clay) helping from the inside, his superior DI Thompson saw it as a way of getting closer to Phil and luring him into a false sense of security.

Callum told Phil that four of Ellie’s properties were going to be raided – and all he had to do was make Ellie believe that drugs had been planted in one of them.

As Ellie met up with Phil, she was seething when he confirmed the raids and, after trying to suss out if he was serious, she saw Phil’s dependable solicitor Ritchie enter the Arches with official guardianship documentation.

As Ellie was forced to sign the papers if she wanted the raids called off, she stormed out and Metro.co.uk can confirm that this is the last current planned appearance for the character.

It had always been planned as a one story stint but she has gone down well with fans and she hasn’t been killed off – so we don’t reckon that Phil should sleep too easily.

He may have awakened beast in Ellie so if Mica fancies it, the storyline would just write itself, wouldn’t it?
