Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb) came to Jamie Tate’s (Alexander Lincoln) rescue in Emmerdale tonight (November 4), and thus the two men decided that they should join forces.
After spotting Jamie in his fancy new car, Mackenzie headed up to Home Farm and hid in the shadows.
Having heard mysterious noises, Jamie grew rather suspicious and thus set off to find out what was going on. However, he was shocked when he discovered that Cain and Sam Dingle (Jeff Hordley and James Hooton) had broken in.
The pair were hellbent on revenge, and therefore revealed their elaborate scheme to put him behind bars.
Yes, they planned on making Jamie drink as many glasses of alcohol as possible, before loading him into the car and crashing the vehicle.
However, little did they know that Mackenzie was nearby and had heard the whole thing!
The newcomer ultimately revealed himself, and rescued Jamie from Cain and Sam’s clutches.
Jamie questioned Mackenzie’s motives, and the young man revealed that he wants cash. In exchange, he’ll protect Jamie from the Dingles.
Jamie’s interests were piqued, that’s for sure, but could this be the start of a deadly alliance?
It would certainly seem so, and we’re invested already.
