Stacey Solomon reveals she spent a whole week with her sons without the internet or video games in idyllic new home

STACEY Solomon and her sons did a digital detox so they could make the most out of spending time together.

The Loose Women panelist recently moved into her forever home, Pickle Cottage, with fiance Joe Swash and their kids.

Over the past week, the family agreed to switch off their devices to focus on playing together and enjoy a 'digital detox'.

Stacey came back to Instagram after seven days off social media, to share a video montage of the all the fun times she had with her sons, Zachary, 12, Leighton, eight and Rex, one.

"Ohhh I've missed you all loads," Stacey wrote alongside videos of the boys playing in the large yard.

"I forget how much this little Instagram is like talking to my friends. But I only had one week with the boys together.

"Their holidays were different this year so we all agreed, no internet, no games or socials and we played and played and played."

Stacey told fans how the family got creative with their time and also got to play with her nieces and nephews.

"We've just spend the week making up games… playing with their cousins in the garden. Fixing up Pickle Cottage and watching Theo and Peanut chase each other all day," she wrote on the montage.

"I feel like I've been to the gym everyday with all the wrestling boys. But now the big pickles are seeing their daddies this weekend before school starts again this Monday, so I'm excited to be back on here with you all."

Stacey, 31, has been teasing more upcoming house renovations going on today – and posted a heartfelt message about the big move.

"Today was such a manic surreal day," said Stacey earlier this month.

"And I'm just sat here thinking about how none of it would have happened if it wasn't for you all.

"Thank you will never be enough. And I'll never ever take for granted the moments and memories you've given me and our family.

"You've changed people's little businesses. Supported people who really need it. Made me laugh and cry, always in a good way.

"I love you all to the moon and back. You are just the best online family anyone could wish for.

"Anyway I'll stop being so soppy now, but I'm just forever grateful.

"There's lot of exciting things happening at pickle cottage tomorrow and I can't wait to share it with you all."

Sadly, Stacey was also relentlessly trolled about posting videos and pictures of Pickle Cottage by trolls.

The cruel comments forced Stacey to quit social media for a 24-hour period.
