Are you ready to laugh and cry with Woody, Buzz and the gang all over again?
After Tuesday night’s Hollywood premiere for “Toy Story 4,” reactions began to roll in, with critics and film fans over the moon for Pixar’s fourth installment of the franchise.
This time around, Andy is firmly in college, the toys are devoted to a new child named Bonnie, a DIY toy named Forky (voiced by Tony Hale) crashes the party and Woody (voiced by Tom Hanks) is challenged to consider a path unknown by his longtime crush, Bo Peep.
Here’s what early reactions looked like for “Toy Story 4.”

Film writer Alisha Grauso called the film’s conclusion “as lovely and warm and heartbreaking as ‘Toy Story 3.'”
#ToyStory4 has an ending as lovely and warm and heartbreaking as Toy Story 3. In between the genuine belly laughs (thanks, Duke Caboom) is a story that has the heart that Pixar is known for. Loved it.
Keanu Reeves is an amazing addition
Slashfilm managing editor Jacob Hall praised the movie while noting that Keanu Reeves’ Canadian toy Duke Caboom “steals it all.”

Toronto Sun editor Mark Daniell agreed, saying Reeves’ killer new character “deserves his own spinoff.”

CBSi’s James Viscardi said “Toy Story 4” manages to go “to infinity and beyond. It tugs at the heartstrings right from the get go and doesn’t stop.”

Yahoo Entertainment senior correspondent Kevin Polowy was moved, saying the new “Toy Story” movie “yet again leaves you in a pool of tears.” He also noted that the fourth film “might be my favorite one yet.”
In the least surprising news of the year, TOY STORY 4 is a friggin delight. Easily the funniest one yet, and yet again leaves you in a pool of tears. This might be my favorite one yet.
Though filmmaker Jonathan J. Spiroff was more circumspect, saying Pixar “rewards fans for being invested all these years” but didn’t think the movie was “quite as good as Toy Story 3.”
