A “BEAUTIFUL” woman killed in a horror crash with a lorry on the M6 has been pictured for the first time as heartbroken pals paid tribute.
Beth Malpass, 27, was driving her red MG MG3 when it was involved in a collision with a white DAF Trucks HGV at around 1am on Saturday.
Emergency services rushed to the southbound carriageway between Wolverhampton and Cannock, Staffs, but Beth was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
Specialist officers are supporting the victim's heartbroken family, who have today released a picture of Beth, who lived in Dudley, West Mids.
A devastated pal today paid tribute, writing: “It was an honour to have known you Beth.
“You were without doubt one of the most beautiful people inside and out I have ever known.
“Sleep tight angel, my thoughts are with your family right now.”
A Staffordshire Police spokesperson said: "Witnesses who may have seen the vehicles before the collision or anyone with relevant dashcam footage can contact officers from the Staffordshire and West Midlands Serious Collision Investigation Unit by messaging Staffordshire Police on Facebook or Twitter quoting incident number 33 of 23 January or calling 101."
The motorway was closed southbound between Junction 12 and Junction 11 for around five hours after the crash happened close to Junction 11a.
The road was not fully open again until around 9.30am.
