Horror as pregnant mum, 32, found murdered at home on pile of bloodied clothes

A pregnant mum-of-two’s lifeless body was found in a pile of bloodied clothes inside her former partner’s house yesterday.

Michelle Darragh, 32, was found dead next to her ex Ben Coman, 29, who was raced to hospital and is under police guard as he battles critical injuries at the Royal Melbourne Hospital.

The couple – who had only broken up two weeks before the grim incident – were discovered 28km east of Melbourne's city centre, reports the Daily Mail.

Tragic Michelle has since been lavished as a "beautiful soul" by her devastated loved ones.

"She lived for her kids and family and always put other people first in front of her own self," a family member told The Age.

"We will always remember her beautiful nature and her infectious smile that lit the room up when she walked into it."

Forensic experts have studied the home and Victoria Police said they are "not looking for anyone else in relation to this incident".

Michelle, a social worker, was spotted at Coman’s fateful property on Saturday afternoon.

Coman, who runs a business making cabinets, was seen walking in the area at a similar time.

A neighbour told the Herald Sun they were a "fantastic" and "lovely" couple who had lived there for around four years.

Trent Falahey praised them as "great neighbours" and said: "It’s a pretty tight neighbourhood, we all know each other.

"You don't expect these things to happen in your neighbourhood."

Other tributes said Michelle adored her two sons and was a dedicated, loving mother.

Devastatingly, Trent also revealed that he had seen Michelle’s heartbroken parents crying outside the property.

He said her devastated mother asked him if he had "heard anything" in relation to the gruesome death.

The police investigation continues.
