Inside sprawling sex doll factory with skeletons and headless models on display

Incredible pictures have offered a glimpse inside a huge sex doll factory in China – showing disembodied heads and skeletons.

British company LoveDolls is situated inside the world’s biggest sex doll factory in the city of Zhongshan, China.

It produces a range of models and started to experiment more with its designs during the pandemic.

In one photo, the skeleton of an unfinished doll strikes a bizarre pose.

In another, dozens of headless designs are seen lying on tables with their arms outstretched.

The average price of a doll sold by the company on Lovedolls.com is $1,800 (£1,361), and it exports its products to the US and a raft of other European countries.

In a stage of the production process, dolls are seen wrapped in plastic and left hanging on an assembly line.

During the pandemic, LoveDolls workers started designing “fantasy alien dolls” along with a range of other models.

In another of the photographs, one of the elf models is on display – with pointy ears and huge eyes.

They also provide a look at the beginning of the production process, as the basic outline of a model lies on the factory floor.

The business has previously 3D-scanned porn stars and customises the most popular brands at the Jinsan factory.

LoveDolls has already created dolls withartificial intelligenceheads capable of limited conservation, with the technology said to be improving "every year".

Its workers have also designed a model with a “new and very popular” breathing feature.

Company spokesman Adam earlier told the Daily Star: “Everybody agrees that the perfect sex doll robot, almost indistinguishable from humans, will appear in our lifetimes.

“However they will not appear overnight. Rather, they will be created by slowly adding and upgrading existing features to current dolls.”

Customers who buy dolls with the breathing feature can “feel the air coming in and out of the nose”.

LoveDolls also offers AI heads that “respond to many questions and make sexual noises and/or facial expressions like smiles and winks”.

The most advanced cost $3,000 (£2,230) and can respond to a wide range of questions.

Adam said: “Currently the AI technology is only at a stage where the doll will only say specific responses when asked specific questions, and will mention specific questions it has been programmed to do. In the future this will definitely improve, and is getting better every year.”

Earlier this month, another sex robot manufacturer gave customers a look inside its Westworld-style factory.

RealDoll, based in San Marcos, California, the US, uploaded a photo of one of its “quality control” employees at work on its Instagram page.
