More than 1,000 people have signed a petition urging the NHS to sack one of its contractors who was filmed screaming ‘Nazi scum’ at a Donald Trump supporter who was doused in milkshake.
Siobhan Prigent was seen swearing and shouting in the face of a semi-retired grandfather at a demonstration in Parliament Square on Tuesday.
The 34-year-old – who sells project support services to the NHS through her company VLEK Ltd – was also spotted laughing as the British Trump supporter, who has not been named, was attacked by the angry mob.
Her behaviour was described as an ‘outrage’ in a petition set up on Change.org by Jason Coleman, which attracted more than 1,300 signatures in the first 18 hours.
He said: ‘She should not be allowed to hold onto her NHS job as this behaviour is not in line with NHS Professional Standards expected by its employees.

‘Her apology is totally fake as if this incident hadn’t have been captured on video she would not be making the apologies she has done since and would no doubt do it again.
‘Sacking her will show that the NHS will not tolerate such behaviour from its employees and serve as a deterrent to others who think this behaviour is acceptable.’
In the footage filmed on Tuesday, Miss Prigent is questioned about her shocking behaviour, to which she responds: ‘I don’t need to hear from other white men, thank you very much.’
The revelation that Miss Prigent is an NHS contractor comes amid Mr Trump’s suggestion that the NHS would be on the table in any post-Brexit trade talks.
Miss Prigent, who lives in London, describes herself online as an ‘intersectional feminist’ and a ‘crazy cat lady’ with an interest in mental health.

She appeared to have gone to ground last night as she could not be reached for comment and had deleted all her social media accounts amid fears her NHS career was in jeopardy.

Before deleting the accounts, however, she apologised for her actions.
‘I am very sorry for my behaviour today. I should have protested peacefully and I didn’t, and I regret that,’ she posted on Twitter.
‘I’ve let myself down and I do understand that fully. There are two sides to every story, but my actions were my own, and that’s on me. Please leave my family and friends out of it.’
But her apology was questioned yesterday as it came just hours after she had posted expletive-filled messages about Trump supporters.
She had earlier tweeted: ‘The MAGA [make America great again] c**** get a police escort #NoThanksNazis #TogetherAgainstTrump #DumpTrump.’ An internet user commented that the post made her apology seem ’empty’.
The middle-aged Trump supporter was led away by police for his own protection after the fracas.

The man later said he was peacefully debating with ‘moderate Lefties’ and ‘having a laugh with the majority of them’ before the demonstration turned violent.
He said: ‘We have to put forward how aggressive the Left can be – it’s not us. If they want to call me Right wing because I’m supporting Trump then I must be Right wing, but I’m not a racist.’
The man also claimed demonstrators kicked him in the legs, attacked him with a banner and attempted to remove his Make America Great Again hat.
Moments after the middle-aged man was doused in milkshake, Miss Prigent was filmed yelling ‘he’s a f****** Nazi’.
The foul-mouthed protester has worked for the NHS for ten years and set up her own management consultancy business last September.
She is the only director of VLEK Ltd which is awarded NHS contracts.
Miss Prigent’s LinkedIn account, which has now been deleted, stated that she works for University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (UCLH) as a consultant.
The profile reportedly said: ‘I have worked in clinical trials since 2009, starting in the NHS then moving in to industry in 2015.’

Last night a UCLH spokesman said: ‘Siobhan Prigent is not a UCLH employee. She works for a third party contracted to carry out administrative work at UCLH. Her work does not involve patient contact.’
She has also worked for Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust as a clinical trial coordinator. It is not clear what specific area of health care she works in but in one post she said she was interested in ‘cancer research opportunities’.
One image showed her posing with a handwritten placard reading: ‘#whywedoresearch to make patient’s treatment as individual as their cancer.’
Older photographs also emerged of her posing with a host of celebrities including actors Benedict Cumberbatch and Anthony Head.

A deleted Facebook profile image showed her grabbing the chest of a female friend. In her ‘biography’ on the site she wrote: ‘Trying to educate myself.’
She also has a tattoo of Groot, a tree-like superhero from the Marvel comics, tattooed on her arm.
Miss Prigent, who was born in Oxford, is the sister of a former police officer who is married to a Royal Marine.
Alecia Emerson-Thomas, 38, has recently given interviews about her husband Peter’s battle with post-traumatic stress disorder, which was triggered by his horrific experiences in Afghanistan.
Miss Prigent could not be reached for comment and her parents refused to comment.
