Mum tells how friend seduced and had baby with her 13-year-old son when babysitting him – before accusing him of rape

A MUM has told how her friend seduced her 13-year-old son and had a baby with him while babysitting him – before accusing him of rape.

Leah Cordice was sentenced to 30 months in prison in May after she groomed and had sex with a 13-year-old boy multiple times between 2017 and 2018.

Aged 17 at the time, she groomed the boy with free fish and chips and gave him "little treats" so he would keep the abuse quiet.

She gave birth to the schoolboy's baby, but she falsely claimed he raped her.

The boy's mum, speaking anonymously, said he has been "torn apart".

"Leah was a trusted friend of the family. She burst into my son's room while I wasn't there, while he was relaxing playing his games, and forced herself on him," she told the Daily Star.

“She never tried it when I was at home, she knew how wrong it was. Leah is a tall woman, my son was a very small boy when the abuse began. It disgusts me.”

The mum said she defended Cordice when cops first told her about the allegations.

She said her son was too scared to admit what happened and so lied to the police.

It wasn't until a friend of hers told her that she had "become a grandma" that the boy's mum realised what had happened.

"The room spun and I realised what she meant. Suddenly, it all clicked into place. My son admitted it straight away. [Cordice] warned him not to say anything to anyone. He was scared of her," she said.

The boy was found to be the child's father after a DNA test, and she has since been adopted.

The lad's mum said he was "devastated" about not being able to see his daughter.

"Having my grandchild taken away, my son becoming a dad at such a young age – it’s been incredibly traumatic for us all," she said.

“My son will now only be allowed to meet his daughter again when she’s 18. It devastated him, he had a breakdown."

During a trial, the court heard how Cordice, of Windsor, Berks, first had sex with the boy in 2017 after pulling down his trousers while he was playing video games.

They then met up twice a month for sex as Cordice would babysit the boy while his mum worked late.

She sent him a barrage of messages complaining he didn't speak to her enough and praised his "cute" social media pictures.

Cordice would also give him £10 to buy fish and chips and accused him of ignoring her as she vied for his attention.

One message read: "I want to talk to you. I want a conversation.

"You do not talk to me. You are always acting blunt with me. I just want our friendship back.

"Your profile picture is cute by the way. It is cute."

Even after Cordice's husband, Daniel Robbins, discovered what was happening and confronted the boy, the sex continued.

Daniel had at first believed Cordice's baby was his.

On finding out, he told the Sun: “It hurts like hell. I had an amazing life.

“Everything was going so well. I had a secure job, a nice place, a good relationship and a beautiful daughter. All of a sudden, everything I cherished was taken away — my child, my wife, my home, my job.

“What do I have left? It’s heartbreaking.”
