Queens mom, 23, arraigned on murder charges in death of her infant twins

A young Queens mother was arraigned Saturday in connection with the murders of her six-week-old twins inside their NYCHA apartment, according to the Queens District Attorney’s office.

Danezja Kilpatrick, 23, who sources said told cops, “I can’t take it anymore,” faces multiple counts of murder.

She was arraigned before Judge Stephanie Zaro on a criminal complaint charging her with two counts each of first and second-degree murder, criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth degree and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child.

Kilpatrick’s infants — Dakota and Dallis Bentley — were found at about 3:10 p.m. Thursday during a police wellness check at an apartment in the Woodside Houses at 51st Street at 32nd Avenue, police said.

The baby boy was found first inside the crib with what appeared to be stab wounds, police sources told The Post. The baby girl was found wrapped in a pink blanket under the kitchen sink, according to cops and sources.

Kilpatrick’s next court appearance is set for May 21. If convicted, Kilpatrick faces life in prison without possibility of parole.
