Raging monkeys ‘kill 250 PUPPIES by dropping them off buildings in revenge for dogs killing their young’

FURIOUS monkeys have reportedly killed 250 puppies during a horrific revenge spree.

The primates are said to have grabbed the pups off the street and thrown them from the tops of buildings and trees.

It comes after a pack of dogs killed one of the monkey's infants, according to reports.

Humans in Indian villages Majalgaon and Lavul have also been attacked during the bizarre rampage.

According to India's News18 website, "not a single" young dog has been spared – and even schoolchildren have been chased.

One eight-year-old was reportedly dragged away by a group of the creatures before being rescued.

It's claimed monkeys grab the dogs as soon as they see them before pulling them up to a high place and dropping them to their death.

Pictures in Indian media appear to confirm the attacks.

HORROR ATTACKS

In one gruesome video, a monkey can be seen carrying a puppy to the edge of a rooftop.

Separate footage shows dogs chasing monkeys through a village as women and children run for safety.

Locals have contacted officials for help.

However, it's understood that although officers were sent out, they were unable to catch any of the creatures.

Villagers have apparently been hurt in falls as they try to protect their dogs.

Monkey attacks against other creatures are rare, although chimpanzees can behave aggressively.

BABY MUTILATED

In 2009, 50-year-old Charla Nash was attacked by her friend's pet chimp Travis, which weighed more than 14 stone.

Her hands, eyelids, nose and lips were torn from her body.

However, smaller primates do sometimes behave violently.

Last year, the residents of Thai city Lopburi were forced to barricade themselves inside their homes when the streets were overrun with macaques.

One resident told reporters: "We live in a cage but the monkeys live outside.”

Also in 2020, a 13-year-old girl died after being chased off the roof of her own house by a gang of monkeys.
