Shocking video shows Maserati driver open fire on car that may have cut him off

Shocking new video shows the moment a gunman in a Maserati opens fire on a car in northwest Washington, D.C. after appearing to be cut off.

The surveillance video, released by the Metropolitan Police Department, shows the violent encounter from just after 5 p.m. last Wednesday on the 1600 block of Eastern Avenue, cops said.

The gunman can be seen in the video getting out his Maserati with a gun in his right hand, walk up to the driver’s side of his target’s car and start firing.

After the victim pulls away in their sedan, the gunman then points the firearm at the traffic behind him, but it is unclear if he squeezed off any additional rounds.

In the 40-second clip, it appears the victim cut off the unknown man in the sports car before the shooting.

A woman was hit by gunfire in the incident but it was unclear if she was the driver of the sedan. She was treated for non-life-threatening injuries, cops said.
