A WOMAN has been killed after her husband accidentally reversed over her in a car park, local media reports.

The 70-year-old tragically died on the church grounds in Sydney's northwest.

It has been reported that the OAP was dropped off at the Castle Hill Baptist Church by her husband – before he accidentally reversed over her.

The woman was heading to the church to attend a Bible study when she was horrifically struck down.

Local reports state that another church member witnessed the accident but it was already too late.

Emergency services were called at around 9:30am this morning following reports that a pedestrian had been hit by a car.
