PDC World Darts chant for Luke Littler after shock win has fans in hysterics

Fans at the Paddy Power PDC World Darts Championship have already come up with an unforgettable song for Luke Littler.

At just 16 years old, Littler blew former BDO world champion Christian Kist away in front of a stunned Ally Pally crowd. He finished the game with a breathtaking seven 180 maximums, a 50 per cent finishing power and a terrifying average of 106.12.

When they were not stunned to silence by his natural talent and nerves of steel, the capacity crowd at Ally Pally came up with the perfect song for the prodigal youngster, whose odds were shrunk down from 50/1 to 12-1 off the back of his crushing victory.

"Luke Littler is 16. Easily looks 26. Must have been shaving at primary school. Some f***ing talent," a third wrote, referring to his rather manly looks. Another tweeted: "Luke Littler is insanely good, lapping up the crowd whilst they’re singing 'you’ve got school in the morning to him,' it’s wild out there!"

Littler looked like he was enjoying every minute of his debut. He was hyping up the crowd, laughing and hitting any double or triple he was looking for.

Up next is UK Open Champion Andrew Gilding in the second round. Considering his epic performance against Kist and the fact that Phil 'The Power' Taylor himself has already tipped him for some big things, he will not be phased one bit.

“I'm over the moon – it's got to be at the top (nights of his career)," he said after his victory. “It was my debut, my first game here, and I couldn't believe how quickly I settled into the game. As soon as I found my rhythm, I was in. I know Phil Taylor was watching – that's for you, Phil.”
