EMMERDALE will be rocked by a horror Christmas shooting that will see one character facing a Christmas they never expected.
The fallout from Mackenzie Boyd's cheating ways has finally begun to catch up with him after being taken and held hostage by Chloe Harris' father, Damon, also known as Harry.
In sinister scenes aired on ITV, fans watched on as Mack was left tied up and bound to a chair in an empty and disused warehouse.
While so far it has seemed unclear exactly just what Harry has planned for Mack, things are set to reach a fever pitch that no one expected this Christmas.
In upcoming scenes, Chloe will be left uncomfortable by the extent that her father has gone to and the implications this could cause for Reuben.
Chloe eventually makes the decision to set him free as Harry is left puzzled as to why the warehouse is empty with no Mack.

In order to save her own back, Chloe tells a pack of lies to Damon but he already knows exactly what she has done.
He plays along but when Chloe is later back at Keepers' Cottage, he tells her about a surprise he has lined up before bundling her into the back of his car.
Witnessed by Charity and Chas, it is clear that something is amiss and fearing for Mack, the pair set off in pursuit of Chloe.
Back at the factory, Chloe sees the state of Mack as Harry prepares to subject him to a further beating in front of her eyes.

Creeping into the factory, Chas and Charity witness a furious and escalating row between Chloe and Harry.
Caught by one of Harry's heavies, Chloe attempts to call the police in order to put a stop to the madness which leads to Charity stepping in to protect her from his cronies.
She hits him over the head with a plank in order to save Chloe as Chas takes her and runs off to phone the police.
As Charity takes a further walk deeper into the factory, Mack catches his breath and manages to muster up a few furious words to Harry.
Having heard enough, Harry decided to take a stand and pulls out his gun.
With Charity approaching from behind him, she ends up in an explosive scuffle with Harry in an attempt to save Mack.
Amid the fight, Harry's gun goes off…
But just who gets shot?
